It is a built-in continuity guarantee included automatically with every account. If your subscription renewal is ever interrupted, the Guardian Shield™ instantly places your archives into a hermetically sealed Preservation Mode for up to 90 days. Your existing voice data is safely frozen and protected in our cloud vault, giving you total peace of mind and ample time to restore full access when you are ready.
Not at all. Your preservation is a personal journey meant to be captured at your own pace. You can return to the app whenever you feel inspired to add a new story or memory to your vault. Please note that voice hours reset monthly and do not roll over, ensuring a consistent, dedicated rhythm for your preservation.
Canceling your subscription stops future billing, but your account and vault remain active through the end of your current paid term. For example, if you cancel six months into an annual plan, your account stays active — with recordings accessible — for the rest of that paid year.
If you choose to delete your account instead, all recordings and data will be permanently removed. Before deletion, you'll have the chance to purchase a Master Archive Release for $29.99 (up to 10 GB), with additional storage available at $9.99 per extra 5 GB. This is the only way to keep a copy of your recordings after account deletion. Both cancellation and account deletion can be managed directly within the app.
We understand this is one of the most important questions to ask before trusting us with something irreplaceable. If Legacy Everhart were ever to cease operations, we are committed to creating a master archive of every member's recordings and sending it directly to the email on file — either the designated successor or the account holder — before any shutdown. Your voice stays yours no matter what happens to us.
